Peter Quill, known as Star-Lord, is a key character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), specifically within the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise.

Born on Earth to Meredith Quill and Ego, a Celestial being, Peter was abducted by Yondu Udonta's Ravagers shortly after his mother's death in 1988.

Raised as a Ravager, Quill developed a roguish personality and a penchant for stealing artifacts, eventually forming the Guardians of the Galaxy with Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot. He is portrayed by actor Chris Pratt. His first appearance was in the movie *Guardians of the Galaxy* (2014).

Star-Lord's weapon of choice includes blasters and his cunning. Throughout his time with the Guardians, he grapples with his family history and gradually learns to lead his team and protect the galaxy.
